Official Launch Day!

Hear ye, hear ye! Let this wedding blog officially be declared open!

Why hello. Welcome. Pull up a festive lawn chair and have a sit down with some pink lemonade, a macaroon or whatever you so wish. Today is a day of gooey lovey dovey-ness and we aren’t going to miss out. Not only because it’s Valentine’s Day, but because there’s a bit of a celebration going on.

That’s right. Finally, there exists an online entity whose sole purpose is to extol the virtues and pure positives if you’re about to marry on the prairie! Catchy, huh? We’re just creative down here at Little Bride on the Prairie. Basically, we’re here to build a community and start the discussion rolling when it comes to all you Manitoba brides and all the dilemmas you’re facing, be it about style, decor, ceremony site or photographer. We’re also here to feature gorgeous and totally unique weddings happening right now in your very city so that all of you can soak in some insight and inspiration for either your own day, or just your daily wedding-blog trawling. 

And we want to reward you for it!

Attention all brides-to-be or brides-just-were. We need your submissions! As a result, we have a very special giveaway going on right now. LBP’s very own Miss Bee is offering up her artistic talents to the lucky first 5 submitters to Little Bride on the Prairie. She will create for you two personalized vintage Victorian silhouette portraits of you and your significant other as a nice little congrats both on your Winnipeg wedding and that you’re special day is going to be featured on the world wide wedded web! Little Bride on the Prairie seeks to highlight all the inspiration from decor to diva that you need should you be planning your upcoming nuptial-fest, or should you just be proud of your prairie-ness and pumped to show it off to the Wide Wedding World! These kind of blogs exist in the dozens for the West Coast and Ontario, but none for the Heart of the Continent, and c'mon . . . that's downright mischievous!
