Theme weddings are fun for some, but if you don't feel like breaking the bank on costume rentals, actors, and theme-appropriate decor, then why not take some inspiration instead?
The idea of a medieval/Celtic wedding is represented by small elements in the wedding decor. Why not take your bride and groom toast out of sterling silver goblets? Exchange Celtic-inspired wedding bands? Or even have some elements of your theme influence your dress choice, meal, or cake design?
All of these things help your wedding to have that 'theme' feel, without the stress of asking guests to show up in ...ahem... tights and tunics.
